Frank’s Savage Dream

I am a one-man band. I play all of the instruments in my recordings, either through my synthesizer or “live.”

I started out playing trumpet in the 5th grade and played until I graduated high school. In the Army, I picked up guitar, and after my honorable discharge, I put together a band and played local coffee houses in Japan.

Once I returned to the United States, I took a couple of years of piano lessons, but the teachers weren’t teaching what I was interested in learning, so after two years of frustration, I quit taking lessons and began learning on my own.

I’ve missed having a band, and frustrated in my attempts to get one together, so I started dabbling in multi-track recording some years ago. In 2007, I started getting a little more serious about it and picked up some books on home studio mixing, sought lots of advice from friends, and I’m hopefully getting a little better at it.

Please give a listen, rate the songs, leave comments, etc. Thank you! :-)

Aw shucks… Thank you so much!! So nice to see you and see how well you’re doing, as well as the way the site is really taking off. Congratulations! Thank you for the invitation! :-)

Frank, I love, love, love your music. It’s exactly my style. (Not crazy about the vocals, though, but I prefer non-vocal music anyway).

I tried registering on the site so that I could rate, comment, and even buy the music, but I’ve not yet received my registration email that allows me to confirm my registration. Without that, it’s impossible to do any of the above. That could be a big deterrent to making sales, so thought you should be aware of it. Are you listed anywhere else?

In any case, I’ll continue to listen because the music is exactly right for me. Can’t overemphasize how much I love it. Thank you so much for creating it.

Wow! Thank you! I’m not sure how quickly Soundclick sends confirmation e-mails. Maybe check your junk/spam folder. All of my music is free to download, and you should be able to do that, whether they send you the confirmation e-mail expeditiously or not. Thank you again, Donna! :-)

Ok, found the way to download your music (took a while to figure out how to do that). (Upper right is a link to “18 songs available”) for anyone else who wonders.

Now, I’m all excited that I can listen to your music everywhere I go. *does a little happy dance*

Sheesh, DD’s not kidding! I’m listening to one song now…”Dying Inside”. I only know you as a writer….never heard your music before! My son and nephew are into original music. Will point them to your stuff too. You’re so talented!

Wow! Thank you! I’m still working the bugs out with mixing and stuff, and I want to do more structured, lyrical/vocal stuff. (sorry, Donna!). I’ve got all the ideas in the world, and no time to actually DO anything! LOL! Thank you again! :-)
